Last weekend by friend Bumper Bauer (a pro-staffer for PA Back Country) and I went to the Clarion River.  He said he's been doing really well fishing crayfish lures, and he showed me photos of some nice fish he caught on his previous trip.  But alas, we ran into extremely low water, tons of canoers, and fish with a serious case of the lock jaw.  I ended up catching two, the biggest of which was a whopping 12".  Yes, that's right.  That's no typo.  12".

Been catching some real nice large mouth the last couple years on the river. You must of been up river (low water) I fish mostly from the launch at Millcreek down to the dam dont have to worry about low water or canoes but the water skiers will blow you off the water most days in the summer.
